Before Pictures

Here are some pictures of how the store looks right now.  Tomorrow it won't look like this since walls are being torn down and the work is about to begin.  We're so excited about all of this stuff.  We're a little mom n' pop shop but this little shop will allow us to reach sooooo many people and put smiles on their faces and happiness in their tummies!!

Renovations

Renovations begin tomorrow morning on the store.  I'm so excited.  There's a lot of work to be done and it's going to take some long days for the next couple of weeks to make it happen but it's all going to be worth it in the end. 

Tomorrow morning I'm going to the store to take some 'before' pictures.  The store use to be a beauty salon.  We're right between a wings place and a wireless place - the w's....but I think we're going to fit in quite nicely.  The store is located right on Covington Pike/Elmore (across from Sam's and McDonald's).

We even have to go out and pick some paint colors tomorrow.  I have a few colors in mind but not sure if they're right for a bakery but I guess we'll find out soon enough huh?!?!? In the end, I'm thinking that it's all going to come together quite nicely.

I hope that YOU will like it and enjoy it just as much as I'm enjoying bringing it all together. This bakery is not just going to be for profit but a place to give back to the community.

As my blog continues, I will begin to share my vision for the bakery and how we're going to make this a bakery for the community and allow the community to be a BIG part of this entity.  What started out as a hobby and a way to make extra money has turned into something BIGGER than I could've ever imagined!!
